Lisa's Story
Hi there! My name is Lisa, and I am a recovering overachiever. In the past, I found myself pursuing the next promotion, advancement, award, gold star, etc. without clear, connected internal purpose. It was similar to falling up the stairs – I would suffer and sacrifice through each accomplishment, putting in unreasonable hard work to just put a flag in the next goal. I was wired for success in an unhealthy way because it wasn’t aligned with what was true, authentic, or meaningful to me.
At 27 years old, I woke up with my checklist checked, but was still deeply dissatisfied. I was fortunate enough to bump into a coach, literally. After a year of work, I found that what was missing were skills of self-mastery, self-leadership, and self-awareness. They were the foundational pieces that changed all other things in my life. From a 7/10 life to a 10/10 life. Consequently, it was the work that I couldn’t avoid pursuing.
12 years since launching my own business, LP Coaching, I primarily work with under-fulfilled over-achievers with a similar story – high-performing entrepreneurs, coaches, and executives who crave big lives without big burnout. I’ve been lucky to work with extraordinary clients that include Olympic athletes, tech CEOs, nonprofit executives, government leaders, and executives from Google, Disney, Amazon, LinkedIn, Activision Blizzard, Accenture, Business Insider, Harvard, and many others.
I believe that the Coaching Industry, and masterful coaches, can change the world. As an impassioned uplifter of the coaching world, I love Mentor Coaching individuals and small groups who are developing their skills and professional knowledge to achieve the next coaching credential level. I work with seasoned coaches who want to define, hone, and amplify the “edge” of their coaching to create deeper impact, more ease and flow, and expand their client base. Further, I believe that the internal transformation of honing the edge of your coach-approach, identifying blind spots, and releasing ego is where the true gift is ignited for coach and clients… impacting the coach’s life for the better. IGNITE Mastery, an MCC Mentor Coach Program, focuses on a combination of immersive coaching, rich community, and strong championing to spark that internal transformation for coaches, no matter their current credential. Mastery begins wherever you are.
In addition to powerful 1:1 coaching (6+ month transformative and 3+ month mentor coaching), I offer group coaching programs including IGNITE Mastery for credentialed coaches, Down to Business Bootcamp for trained coaches, and The Elite Entrepreneur for services-based business owners. Prior to coaching, I led a fulfilling career in recruiting and development for nonprofits, internet start-ups, and Fortune 500 companies. It was here that I discovered that resilient transformations can happen anywhere, at any time given the inspirational commitments that individuals and teams make.
